Elizabeth DiStasio-Waddell, founder and artistic director of the Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet.
Elizabeth DiStasio-Waddell founded the Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet in 1997 and is the Artistic Director. She is also currently a faculty member at the University of Buffalo's Theatre and Dance Department, and is the director and owner of the Royal Academy of Ballet.
She began her training at the Royal Academy of Ballet at the age of nine under the training of Ginger Burke, founder of the Royal Academy. She continued her training at Mercyhurst College, the Boston Ballet, the Hartford Ballet, and the University of Buffalo, where she received her Bachelor of Arts.
