Auditions

All auditions for Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet performances and scholarships are conducted as a class, and are held at the Royal Academy of Ballet located at 949 Englewood Avenue.

Audition Schedule

Dancers, ages 5–11:
11:30 - Registration
Noon–1:30 p.m. - Audition Class

Dancers, ages 12 and up:
1:00 - Registration
1:30–3:30 p.m. - Audition Class

Audtion Fee: $10

Audition Rules

Dancers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to audition time to allow for sign-in and class preparation.
Dancers should come in dance attire ready to dance.
Hair should be pulled off the face in a bun or pony tail.
Dancers on pointe should bring their pointe shoes for the audition.
Boys are encouraged to audition.
There is no gum chewing allowed during the audition or in class at any time.
